The MDT SRS-XF is a folding buttstock engineered for the kind of shooters who refuse to compromise between portability and performance. What makes the SRS-XF stand out is its flexibility in how you configure it. The reversible folding mechanism lets you fold to either the bolt side or non-bolt side, and it locks securely in both full extension and folded positions. You're not buying a one-size-fits-all stock here. The SRS-XF gives you complete toolless adjustability across the board. Length of pull adjusts from 12.5 to 13.5 inches via thumbwheel, locked down with your choice of thumb screws or set screws (both included). The buttpad adjusts up and down, left and right, so it forms to your shoulder pocket. The cheek rest adjusts for height, side-to-side movement, and cant, giving you the perfect cheek weld every time. Once dialed in, everything locks solid.
MDT machines each stock from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a skeletonized design that strips weight down to about 1.35 pounds without any structural compromise. The Cerakote finish in Charcoal Green is durable and built to handle field conditions. This stock also integrates a bolt cutout in the cheek rest for simplified bolt removal, and comes equipped with three QD flush cup sling mounts for attachment flexibility.
The SRS-XF is specifically designed as a folding option that works with MDT's XTN interface (used on ACC and ESS chassis). No, the cheek rest thumbwheel is sold separately because it interferes with the folding mechanism. The stock ships with thumb screws and set screws for locking adjustments without tools. The SRS-XF works with any MDT chassis that has an XTN stock interface. This includes ACC and ESS chassis systems. It's not compatible with fixed interface stocks or AR-15 platforms. Check your chassis interface type before ordering to confirm compatibility.
