The MDT Field Stock is the kind of upgrade that pays for itself the first time you punch a tighter group with the same barrel you already own. The heart of this thing is a machined aluminum V-block bedding surface wrapped around a 6061 aluminum core. That tapered V-block pulls your action into consistent contact every time you torque it down, and the barrel channel is cut to free-float, so nothing is touching the barrel to throw off your harmonics. The result is better shot-to-shot consistency without sending your rifle off for a custom bedding job. Installation is genuinely simple too. You drop your action in, snug up the two action screws, and you're basically done. No gunsmithing required.
The Field Stock is built to fit you, not the other way around. A tool-less adjustable cheek riser lets you line up your eye behind the scope the same way every time, and the buttstock uses 1/4-inch spacers to give you about an inch of length-of-pull adjustment. Getting a repeatable cheek weld and the right reach makes a bigger difference downrange than most folks expect.
The forend carries M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions plus sling swivel studs front and rear, so you can bolt on a bipod, sling, or an ARCA rail for tripod work.
