The MDT Oryx is purpose-built to turn a factory Ruger 10/22 into something that shoots tight groups. If you've been thinking about getting more from your 10/22 without the complexity, this chassis does exactly that. The aluminum bedding block locks your receiver in place with a rear anchoring mechanism, so you get solid mechanical contact and nothing loose. Your barrel floats free, which means it doesn't touch anything that could affect consistency.
This thing is built from 6061 aluminum that's hard anodized to military spec, with black polymer side panels that keep your hands comfortable whether you're at the range or in cold weather. The whole package tips the scales at 4.2 pounds, so it's not going to slow you down. One-piece construction means no bolted-on parts creating flex and harmonics issues like you see on some cheaper options. Everything you need mechanically is there from the factory.
Your length of pull adjusts in the 13 to 13.5 inch range with a spacer system if you want more. The cheek riser gets you where you need to be behind your optic with an Allen wrench. It comes with a standard AR-15 compatible grip that you can swap out for whatever you prefer. M-LOK slots on the forend and bottom of the stock let you attach slings, rails, or other gear without drilling holes.
