Getting a precision rifle to hang right on the bags or settle fast between positions often comes down to where the weight sits, and these MDT ACC interior forend weights give you real control over that. Each weight adds mass right inside the chassis barrel channel, letting you push the balance point forward for a steadier hold and quicker recoil recovery. With all five installed, you're adding roughly 2.6 pounds up front, and because they mount from the bottom you can add or pull them without ever removing the barreled action from the chassis.

Tuning Balance With the ACC Forend Weights

Each weight carries three sets of mounting holes, so you can shift it inside the barrel channel in 20mm (about 3/4 inch) increments. That means you're not stuck with one fixed position. You can creep the weight forward or back to change how the rifle tracks, how fast the sights return to target, and how it behaves through barricade transitions and awkward positional stages. Pop the forend cap, slide the weights where you want them under the barrel, and screw them down from below.

Built From Case-Hardened Steel

These are made from case-hardened steel, so they hold up to the wear and handling that comes with a competition or field rifle. MDT also machined underside and side clearance slots into the weights, which keeps your M-LOK accessory real estate open along the ACC forend even with the full stack installed. Each weight ships with its own hardware, four #10-24 x 1/2 inch flat head cap screws per unit.

One thing worth knowing up front: these are built specifically for the interior barrel channel of the ACC Premier GEN1, ACC Premier GEN2, and ACC Elite chassis. They won't fit MDT's other chassis lines, so make sure you're running an ACC before you order.
