The MDT LSS Gen3 chassis (model 115062BLK) takes one of the most popular rimfire rifles around and gives it a real precision foundation. This is the Worker configuration built specifically for the Ruger 10/22, so instead of piecing together a build from scratch, you get a ready-to-run setup that still leaves every door open for upgrades later. Machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in durable black Cerakote, it balances rigidity and weight in a package that just plain works.
The heart of this system is its modular core. You can swap the buttstock, grip, and forend without ever removing the barreled action, which means you keep your zero when you change the rifle's personality. The short forend wears polymer side panels that keep things slim in the hand while adding grip and some insulation from hot or cold metal. Out of the box the Worker pairs a CCS buttstock with a Carbine buttstock interface and an Elite pistol grip, giving you a compact, comfortable feel that works just as well for a new shooter as it does for someone who has run rifles for years.
No bedding and no gunsmithing required. You drop your 10/22 barreled action into the chassis, secure it, and you are ready to head to the range. It is compatible with AR-15 style pistol grips and M-LOK accessories, includes a V-block aluminum bedding system, and has an integrated barricade stop for shooting off cover. The adjustable soft rubber buttpad and spacer-adjustable length of pull let you dial in the fit.
Because this is a genuine LSS Gen3 chassis at its core, you are never locked into one setup. Want to add a full-length ARCA forend for bipod and tripod work, change grips, or move to a different buttstock down the line? All of it bolts right on. Absolutely. Even though it ships as a pre-built Worker kit, it is a full LSS Gen3 chassis underneath, so you can swap the buttstock, grip, and forend whenever you want. A big draw is that you can change these components without pulling the barreled action, which helps you hold your zero.
The LSS Gen3 uses AICS pattern magazines. This converts your Ruger 10/22 to run those AICS compatible mags, and an ambidextrous mag release lets you drop them free with your trigger finger.
Yes. The chassis accepts standard AR-15 style pistol grips, though not beaver-tail style grips. It is also M-LOK compatible, so you can mount bipods, slings, lights, and other gear where you need them.
