The FAB Defense T-POD G2 QR is one of those pieces of gear that quietly earns its spot on a build. It lives on your rail as a comfortable vertical foregrip, and the moment you need a stable firing platform, a single thumb button releases the legs and turns it into a fully functional bipod. There's no attachment to swap, no bag to dig through, and no gunsmithing to get it running. Close the halves and press the legs back up and you're right back to grip mode.
This is the Gen 2 T-Pod, so it's more compact than the original and it carries a spring-loaded swivel along with a built-in pressure switch mount for a light or laser tape switch. The head does more than just prop the gun up. It lets the weapon pivot roughly 45 degrees left or right of center, which is genuinely useful for tracking a moving target or shifting between targets without breaking your position. There's also a slight cant adjustment to help you level up on uneven ground.
FAB Defense builds the body from fiberglass reinforced polymer and runs the legs in 6061-T6 hard coat anodized aluminum with steel where it counts. Each leg adjusts independently across five length positions, so setting up on a slope, a curb, or a pile of rocks isn't a fight. The whole thing locks to the rail with dual quick-release wingnuts, meaning you can mount it or pull it off in seconds.
The T-POD G2 QR clamps onto any standard underside MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny or Weaver rail, and it plays nice with AR-15s, M4-pattern guns, AK variants, Tavor, VZ58, shotguns, and plenty more. If your handguard runs M-LOK, you'll want a short Picatinny rail section to give it a home. A single thumb button releases the legs so the vertical foregrip drops into a full bipod. To go back, you close the two halves and press the legs up, and it returns to grip configuration. There's nothing to swap out or reattach, which is the whole point of the design.
