Install is about as simple as it gets. Slide the ring onto your eyecup, snug down the single retaining screw, and that's it. If your eyecups run a little small, the included sizing spacer takes up the slack for a solid fit. Just don't crank the screw too hard on softer rubber cups. The magnets live in the adapter itself, not on your phone, so the slim stainless plate that sticks to your phone or case won't mess with your signal. Worth noting: the standard plate does block wireless charging, so if that matters to you, MagView makes a MagSafe-friendly version.
The whole point here is speed and weight. This is one of the trimmest digiscoping setups going, consisting of basically the ring and the plate. Once it's dialed in, snapping the phone on takes a second, and the magnet holds tight enough that a bumped tripod won't send your phone tumbling.
