The AK has always been about reliability, but nobody ever called the classic fixed stock comfortable. The Magpul Zhukov-S in Flat Dark Earth fixes that. It brings modern ergonomics to the platform with a right-side folding design that keeps the charging handle and left-side optic mounts clear. That fold-to-the-right detail matters, because you can still charge and fire the rifle with the stock folded (as long as you're not running the optional cheek risers). Fold it and you shave the overall length down for easier storage, transport, and truck-gun duty.
Stamped from tough injection-molded polymer, this stock adjusts through 5 positions of length of pull in 0.65-inch increments, running roughly 12.2 to 14.8 inches. That range covers just about any body size or amount of gear you're wearing. Each position locks up with positive detents, so you get that solid fixed-stock feel no matter where you set it. The folding mechanism uses a high-strength, wear-compensating lock with a solid steel hinge pin, and the anti-snag adjustment lever stays out of the way when you're moving fast.
The angled rubber buttpad grabs your shoulder and cuts felt recoil, and the rollover toe makes shoulder transitions smoother and helps it seat right when you're running body armor. Sling setups are flexible thanks to QD sockets and a 1.25-inch loop, so whether you run a single-point, two-point, or something in between, you've got mounting options. Want a better cheek weld for glass? The snap-on Magpul AK Cheek Risers drop right in (sold separately).
This mounts to most common stamped-receiver AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 pattern rifles with a single tang trunnion, using Magpul's included wedge block to dial in the fit. AKs vary wildly in tolerances, so a little minor fitting is normal. It is not made for Yugo pattern AKs, Norinco Type 56S/MAK-90 rifles, or milled receivers. Made in the USA.
It's designed for most common stamped-receiver AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 pattern rifles that use a single tang trunnion and a fixed stock. Because AK tolerances vary so much from gun to gun, some minor fitting may be needed to dial it in. It is not compatible with Yugo pattern AKs, Norinco Type 56S/MAK-90 rifles, or milled receivers.
Yes. The right-side folding design keeps the stock clear of the charging handle, so you can rack and fire from the folded position. Just note that this works when the optional cheek risers are not installed.
No, the cheek risers are sold separately. The stock accepts Magpul's snap-on AK Cheek Risers, which raise your cheek weld for proper eye alignment when running side-mounted optics. Out of the box, the stock has a slim cheek profile built for comfort.
The Zhukov-S includes QD attachment points and an integral 1.25-inch sling loop, giving you room to run single-point, two-point, or other setups. QD push-button swivels are not included, so grab those separately if you need them.
