The Magpul X-22 Backpacker Forend is a standalone forend designed to mount to a second barrel assembly so you can keep both barrels stored and ready without buying an entire replacement stock. It handles factory and aftermarket barrels up to 0.92 inch outer diameter, which covers everything from a slim factory pencil barrel to a fatter bull profile.
The whole point of the Backpacker system is packability, and this forend keeps that intact.
