No, these MAG212 plates are specifically designed for Gen M2 MOE magazines only. They will not fit PMAG Gen M3, Gen M1, or any other PMAG generation. Magpul makes separate Ranger Plates for Gen M3 magazines (model MAG561). Make sure you have the correct magazine generation before ordering.
Installation is very simple. You just need to slide off your magazine's original floorplate and slide the Ranger Plate onto the magazine base. It takes maybe 30 seconds per magazine and requires no tools. Once seated, the plate fits solid with no movement or wobble.
These plates are compatible with PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M2 MOE, PMAG 30G, and EMAG magazines. They work with both 20 and 30 round capacities in those generations. They will not work with metal magazines, PMAG Gen M3, or any other caliber variants like the 7.62×39 or 7.62×51 PMAGs.
