If you run a Magpul 17S bipod or anything else built to the A.R.M.S. 17S footprint, this compact quick-release plate lets you pull it off one gun and drop it onto another without breaking out a screwdriver. The dual clamping mechanism reads whatever rail it's sitting on, so it locks up tight to both 1913 Picatinny and RRS/ARCA interfaces.
The magic is in the dual clamp setup. It slims right down to the rail underneath it, which keeps the overall footprint tiny and avoids the bulky, snag-prone overhang you get with some universal adapters.
