Instead of a single button on top that can catch on gear or brush and let your rifle drop, the QDM uses dual side release tabs that only disconnect when you pinch both at once. What Sets the QDM Apart From a Basic QD Swivel

This is a steel swivel finished in Melonite, which is a salt bath nitride treatment that gives it serious resistance to wear and corrosion. That matters if you hunt in wet weather, sweat through a range day, or just want a swivel that shrugs off abuse for years. The QDM installs onto slings up to 1.25 inches wide and drops into any standard-sized QD socket or cup, including the sockets found on plenty of Magpul stocks and QD kits. The high-strength bale rotates freely and is shaped to guide your webbing so the sling lies flat instead of rolling over and twisting on your shoulder. If you want to build out a complete setup, it pairs naturally with an MS1 sling for a dedicated two-point, or with an MS1/MS4 adapter if you want a convertible two-to-one-point rig.
