Magpul took the guts of their original Pro 700 Chassis and the PRS Lite stock and merged them into one streamlined package. The result is the Pro 700 Lite SA, a system that drops a full pound off its predecessor and settles in at 4.4 pounds without giving up the features that matter when you are trying to shrink a group. At the heart of it sits a billet aluminum chassis wrapped in Magpul polymer, which adds ergonomic comfort, real strength, and a bit of sound dampening you notice when handling the rifle in the field or on the line.
Fit is where this stock earns its keep. You get 0.8 inches of comb height and 1.4 inches of length of pull adjustment, plus a low-profile rubber butt-pad that moves for both height and cant so it locks into your shoulder pocket the same way every time. The vertical grip adjusts fore and aft for different trigger reaches, and Magpul throws in a second grip with a more aggressive sweep and larger palm swell for folks who prefer a less vertical hold. Testers with very different builds have all been able to find a comfortable, repeatable hold on the same chassis, which tells you the adjustment range is genuine and not just marketing.
The integrated AICS-pattern magazine well runs Magpul PMAG 5 and PMAG 10 7.62 AC mags along with most other AICS-pattern short action magazines. An ambidextrous Melonite-treated steel mag release and a front barricade stop keep things running clean when you are shooting off a barricade. The oversized trigger guard handles gloved hands and most factory or aftermarket triggers, and the forend carries a stack of M-LOK slots (six left, six right, seven bottom) for bipods, arca rails, and whatever else your setup calls for.
Built fully ambidextrous with a simple bolt retainer plate swap, and drilled for multiple sling options including a 1.25 inch footman's loop and QD sling cups, this one covers precision, hunting, and everything between.
