The commercial model ships with a thick 0.55-inch extended rubber butt-pad that gives you solid shoulder purchase and helps soak up recoil, which is a nice touch if you're running heavier calibers. A premium chrome-silicon lock spring keeps the stock positively locked and holds up over the long haul, and the release latch sits shielded so you're not accidentally collapsing the stock mid-string.
