When you've got a Magpul MOE SL, UBR GEN2, MOE AK, Zhukov-S, or X-22 Backpacker stock, this is the no-brainer upgrade if you want a more comfortable fit or need a bit more reach. The standard pad that comes on these stocks is functional, but this enhanced version takes it up a notch in practical ways.
The added thickness gives you approximately 3/8" more length of pull compared to the factory pad. That might not sound like much, but if you've got longer arms or a bulkier shooting setup, it makes a real difference when shouldering your rifle. The slightly extended reach helps you find a more natural cheek weld and better controls the gun. The design includes an angled, serrated toe that makes it simple to mount the rifle, while a slight curve at the top keeps the pad seated properly on your shoulder when you're firing.
This pad keeps the same non-slip ribbed texture as the original MOE SL pad, so you're not sacrificing grip. The rubber is firm and durable, built to withstand regular use without cracking or losing shape. It's vented, which helps with comfort during extended sessions at the range. Weight-wise, you're looking at less than 1 ounce added to your stock, so there's practically no penalty for upgrading.

This pad is a direct replacement for MOE SL, MOE SL-S, UBR GEN2, MOE AK, Zhukov-S, and X-22 Backpacker stocks. It fits all stocks using the full-size MOE SL pattern butt-pad, but it is not compatible with the compact MOE SL-K and MOE SL-M models.
The enhanced pad adds approximately 3/8 inch to your stock's length of pull. This extra reach can improve comfort and gun control, especially for those with longer arms or wearing heavier gear. The actual increase some users report is slightly more, around 3/4 inch depending on how it seats.
This pad provides a firmer, more durable rubber surface designed for grip and durability rather than heavy recoil reduction. If maximum recoil absorption is your priority, softer aftermarket options like Limbsaver pads are available, though they may not provide the same length-of-pull increase.
