The Magpul MOE Rifle Stock is one of those upgrades that just makes sense for anyone running a classic A1 or A2 fixed-stock AR. It's a drop-in replacement built for rifles using a standard rifle-length receiver extension, so if you've got a 20-inch build or an old-school rifle-length gun, this slides right into place. Molded from tough Magpul polymer in a Flat Dark Earth finish, it trims down the bulk of the old triangle A2 stock while keeping the same solid, no-wobble feel you want in a fixed setup.

What really sets it apart from a factory stock is the useful stuff packed into it. There's a large internal storage compartment tucked behind the hinged butt-pad that's perfect for stashing a compact cleaning kit, batteries, a bore snake, or small tools you'd otherwise leave at home. The rubberized anti-slip butt-pad grabs your shoulder and stays put through recoil, and it's replaceable down the road if you ever wear it out.

Sling Mounting on the MOE Rifle Stock

Magpul gave this stock plenty of ways to carry. It has an integral 1.25-inch sling loop on the bottom rear for a traditional setup, plus optional dual-side front and rear QD mounting points that accept up to 1.5-inch push-button QD swivels. That means you can run a fixed loop sling or move to a quick-detach setup whenever you're ready, no drilling or gunsmithing needed.

Comfort and Build of the MOE Fixed Stock

The sloping cheek weld and slim overall shape make for a natural, comfortable hold, and the profile lends itself well to offhand shooting positions. Knockout bosses on the underside let you add an optional accessory rail if you want to mount gear down the line. It weighs about 14 ounces on its own and carries a 13.5-inch length of pull, and like the rest of the MOE line, it's made in the USA. Keep in mind you'll need a rifle-length receiver extension, buffer, and spring if your rifle isn't already set up for one.
