The stock grip on most AK rifles is thin, slick, and shaped like it was an afterthought. The Magpul MOE-K2 fixes all of that in one drop-in swap. It brings a full-size grip body with a more vertical angle than the traditional Kalashnikov rake, which pulls your firing hand in tighter to your body. That matters a lot on AKs with a shorter length of pull, where the old grip angle can leave your wrist feeling cramped. Slide this on and the rifle just points more naturally.
Magpul carried over the same trapezoidal surface projection texture found across their K2 line, and it earns its keep. The aggressive TSP pattern bites into your palm without shredding it, and it keeps traction whether your hands are sweaty, muddy, or wearing gloves.
