The Magpul MOE Fixed Carbine Stock in OD Green gives your AR-15 or M4 a fixed, non-collapsing platform that mounts right onto a mil-spec carbine-length buffer tube, so you get the solid feel of a rifle-length stock without swapping out your receiver extension. It runs a nonadjustable 12.2-inch length of pull, which is a comfortable, natural fit for most people and keeps your shouldering consistent shot after shot.
The streamlined A-frame design does a couple of things at once. It stays snag-free when you're moving through gear or a tight space, and it puts a sloped, improved cheek weld right where you want it for a clean sight picture. The rubber butt-pad gives you an anti-slip surface that grabs your shoulder even over a jacket or a plate carrier, and it soaks up a little of the impact from shoulder transitions. Built from Magpul's reinforced polymer, it's light at right around 9.5 ounces and holds up to hard, repeated use.
Sling mounting is where this stock earns its keep. You get two integrated 1.25-inch sling loops built in, plus provisions for optional left and right push-button QD Sling Mount Kits (sold separately) if you prefer quick-detach cups. It also plays nice with Magpul's ASAP and ASAP QD receiver-mount attachments, and if you want a longer pull or extra cushion, it's compatible with the PRS Extended Rubber Butt-Pad.

A flathead screwdriver and maybe a rubber mallet is about all you'll reach for. It's built for mil-spec sized carbine-length receiver extension tubes, the type found on most AR-15s and M4s from makers like Colt, LMT, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, and SIG. It will not fit a commercial-spec tube, which has a slightly larger diameter, so check which one you have before ordering. The buffer tube itself is not included.
