It slides right onto a mil-spec carbine receiver extension you already have, so there's no reworking your lower to get that solid, planted feel. The A-frame design is the heart of it. That triangular profile adds strength and keeps things slim and snag-free, while the sloped cheek weld and curved back plate give you a comfortable, repeatable shoulder pocket. The rubber butt-pad grabs your shoulder so the gun doesn't slide around during transitions, and it soaks up a little recoil while it's at it. You get a fixed 12.2-inch length of pull, which sits in the sweet spot for most builds and gives you that same consistent mount shot after shot.

It's built for mil-spec sized carbine-length receiver extensions, which is the most common tube out there on AR-15 and M4 builds. If your rifle uses a commercial-spec tube instead, you'll want the commercial version of this stock. When in doubt, measure your tube's outer diameter, mil-spec runs right around 1.145 to 1.150 inches.
