When you want a stock that just plants in your shoulder the same way every single time, a fixed option beats an adjustable one. The Magpul MOE Fixed Carbine Stock does exactly that. It replaces the wobbly, rattly M4-style collapsible stock most rifles ship with and gives you a solid, no-slop A-frame that stays put shot after shot. It runs a fixed 12.2-inch length of pull, which lands right in the pocket for most builds and shooters, and the sloped cheek weld helps you find the same sight picture without hunting for it.
This one mounts on standard mil-spec sized carbine-length buffer tubes, the kind found on rifles from Colt, LMT, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, SIG, and plenty of others. Keep in mind there are two buffer tube diameters out there, mil-spec and commercial-spec, so make sure yours is the mil-spec size before ordering. The reinforced Magpul polymer holds up to hard use, the rubber butt-pad grips your shoulder and takes the edge off recoil, and the slim, snag-free profile keeps it from catching on gear during transitions.
Sling options are baked right in. You get integrated 1.25-inch loops for traditional slings, plus sockets on both sides that accept optional left or right push-button QD sling mount kits (sold separately). It also plays nice with Magpul ASAP receiver-mount sling plates and the PRS Extended Rubber Butt-Pad if you want a touch more length or cushioning down the road.
Installation is about as painless as it gets. There is no armorer needed and no reason to pull your castle nut or lock plate, so you can have it on your rifle in a few minutes with basic tools. At roughly 9.5 ounces and 8.8 inches long, it keeps things light and compact.
