The Hunter Lite for Ruger American short-action rifles trades unnecessary bulk for field-ready simplicity. At roughly 2.5 pounds, it's about 25 percent lighter and narrower than the original Hunter stock without sacrificing the features that make a hunting rifle work. Bedding That Matters

The stock uses an extruded aluminum V-bedding block with reinforced steel pillars underneath. This means your action sits solid and won't compress or shift when you shoot, which keeps your rifle accurate season after season. You get the same precision fit that more expensive chassis offer without the weight penalty.

Set It Up Your Way

Length of pull adjusts from 13 to 15 inches using four included half-inch spacers. A snap-on cheek riser adds up to 3/8 inch of height if you need better eye alignment with your optic. For left-handed shooters, it's a simple swap of the inlet insert. The stock works with both Gen I and Gen II Ruger American receivers.

Magazine-Fed and Ready
