Magpul's M-LOK Hand Stop Kit is one of those small upgrades that changes how a rifle feels the moment you put your support hand on it. Rather than lock you into one setup, it ships as a three-piece kit so you can build the hand placement that works for the way you actually shoot. Run just the hand stop, back it up with the index panel a slot or two behind, or bridge the gap with the included rail cover. It all mounts to any M-LOK compatible aluminum or polymer handguard, and the whole kit tips the scale at right around an ounce, so you get the control without loading up the front end.
The forward hand stop does the important work: it keeps your support hand from sliding past the handguard toward the muzzle and gives you a repeatable place to lock in every time you shoulder the rifle. That consistency pays off whether you shoot a thumb-over-bore or C-clamp grip, and it makes returning to the same hold after a mag change second nature. The whole thing is molded from Magpul's durable polymer, which shrugs off heat during longer strings of fire and holds up to real range abuse.
Grip comes from Magpul's aggressive TSP (Trapezoidal Surface Projection) texture, the same pattern you'll find across their furniture line. It bites into your hand for a positive, no-slip hold without chewing up your palm. Installation is straightforward with a hex tool, and Magpul includes an M-LOK Hand Stop MOE adapter so the kit plays nice with their polymer M-LOK handguards and forends as well as wider-profile aluminum rails.
