The Marlin lever gun is a classic for good reason, but the factory wood stock was never built with optics, slings, or long days in the field in mind. That is where the Magpul ELG M-LOK Stock comes in. Molded from glass-reinforced polymer, it shrugs off weather and hard use while bringing genuinely useful features to a rifle design that has stayed largely unchanged for over a century. It drops right onto Marlin 1895, 1894, and 336 receivers, including both Ruger-built and older Remington and pre-Ruger guns.
Getting a proper cheek weld behind a scope has always been a headache on stock Marlins, and this stock solves it. Length-of-pull adjusts from 12.5 inches out to 14 inches in half-inch steps using the included spacers, so you can tune the reach to your build and clothing. It also ships with a cheek riser and two 0.25-inch shims for up to 0.75 inches of comb height adjustment, which lines your eye up whether you are running iron sights or glass. The proprietary recoil pad takes a real bite out of felt recoil too, which anyone shooting stout 45-70 loads will appreciate.
Inside the stock is a weatherized compartment that holds a quiver for six rounds of .45-70 Government or 30-30 Winchester, plus an open storage insert if you would rather carry other small gear. Two M-LOK slots on each side open the door to ammo saddles and other accessories, and the stock accepts both Magpul Type 1 and Type 2 QD cups for slings. There is also a sling swivel stud molded into the pistol grip for shorter slings and a muzzle-down carry.
