It accepts the Ruger Fire Control Insert, so your internals stay exactly the same. This is a true drop-in swap. The frame itself ships with the magazine release, springs, and hardware you need to get running without any surprises.
What really sets this apart is the 3/4-scale Trapezoidal Surface Projection texture. It's aggressive enough to lock your grip in place, even when things get wet or sweaty, but it doesn't feel like velcro on your skin. The texture covers the front strap, back strap, side panels, and forward index pads where it actually matters. Combined with the undercut trigger guard, you get a more natural, higher grip position that reduces fatigue and makes recoil management easier.

Absolutely. The EHG RG9 works with most Gen3 magazine releases, slide stops, and holsters. It also functions with Magpul GL9 magazines and most OEM 9mm Glock magazines, giving you flexibility if you're already running those mags.
The 3/4-scale Trapezoidal Surface Projection is designed to give you serious purchase without causing pain or fatigue. It's textured where you need it most, but doesn't have the velcro-like aggression of full-coverage stippling. In real-world use, it performs well wet or dry.
