The Magpul CTR/MOE Cheek Riser solves that with a straightforward 1/4 inch boost to your cheek weld, snapping right into the slots on the top of the stock. No tools, no drilling, no permanent changes to your rifle. Just a solid, repeatable rest for your face so your eye sits where it needs to every time you shoulder up.
When you add a riser mount, a 20 MOA rail, or taller rings, your line of sight climbs and your stock stays put. That gap forces a sloppy, inconsistent cheek weld, and inconsistency is the enemy of tight groups. This riser closes part of that distance. Folks who run it report noticeably better sight alignment and cleaner groups once their eye naturally falls behind the optic instead of straining to find it. The 1/4 inch model is the mild step in the lineup, ideal when you only need a small correction. If you're stacking a big scope up high, the 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch versions exist for that.

The riser drops onto Magpul MOE, CTR, DT, and PR carbine stocks. It was originally designed for M14 carbine stock conversions and works great on bolt guns, precision builds, and other platforms where the charging handle path stays clear. On an AR15 or M4 style rifle the riser can crowd the charging handle unless the stock is run fully extended, so plan your setup accordingly before installing.
It clips onto Magpul MOE, CTR, DT, and PR carbine stocks using the slots along the top of the comb. It will not fit non-Magpul stocks or stocks without those matching slots. If you're running one of those Magpul models, it drops right in.
It's built for non-AR15/M4 platforms because the added height can crowd the charging handle path. On an AR it can work if the stock is run fully extended, and some users trim the front edge slightly to clear the handle. For bolt guns, M14 conversions, and precision builds it fits without those concerns.
It's a tool-free clip-on that snaps into the stock slots in seconds. It seats tightly with no wobble once in place. If you ever want to remove it, a flathead screwdriver makes popping it back out easy.
