The simple two-handed fill process lets you load 30 rounds in under 25 seconds, and you can load anywhere from 1 to 30 rounds per magazine depending on your needs. This isn't a flimsy plastic gadget. The body and slide are injection-molded with a glass-filled N12 polymer compound that has UV stabilization built in, so it won't get brittle sitting in a range bag. Yes. It loads all standard AR-15/M4 compatible 5.56 NATO and .223 magazines without needing inserts or adjustments. That includes USGI aluminum magazines, Magpul PMAGs, HK metal magazines, SureFire 60 and 100-round drums, Beretta AR, and most other STANAG designs. The only exception is newer Lancer L5AWM magazines, which have loading difficulties due to their construction, though older Lancer magazines load fine.
The Range BenchLoader is designed for 5.56 and .223 ammunition. Some users report it works with 300 Blackout, though this isn't officially supported. It will not load blank rounds or ammunition with irregular bullet shapes.
