The SP45A3 is a pretty unique platform, and it deserves purpose-built magazines to match. This factory 20-round magazine is made by Global Ordnance in the United States specifically for the Grand Power Stribog SP45A3 in .45 ACP. There's no guessing about fit or compatibility here, it drops right in and runs.
The translucent clear polymer body is one of the more practical features on this magazine. A quick glance down tells you where your round count stands, which is genuinely useful whether you're running drills at the range or just keeping track during a long shooting session. No counting, no guessing.
Under the hood, a gray anti-tilt follower keeps feeding consistent and reliable. Steel-reinforced feed lips add durability and help maintain feed geometry over the long haul. The polymer body itself keeps weight down without sacrificing the structural integrity you need from a working magazine.
For SP45A3 owners who want to stock up on spare mags, this is the factory-correct option. The Stribog platform benefits from using Grand Power's own magazines, and this one delivers the same performance as what ships with the gun. The 8.3-inch length fits the SP45A3's magwell with a standard fit and feel that's consistent and predictable every time you seat it.
Yes, this magazine is designed specifically for the Grand Power Stribog SP45A3 in .45 ACP. It is the factory-correct magazine for that platform and seats directly into the SP45A3's magwell with no modifications required. It will not fit other Stribog variants chambered in 9mm or 10mm.
This magazine is produced by Global Ordnance in the United States under the Grand Power brand. It is the same factory magazine that ships with the SP45A3 pistol, so you are getting the genuine article rather than an aftermarket substitute.
The SP45A3 uses a proprietary Grand Power magazine, though the platform's magazine type is sometimes described as HK UMP-pattern. In practice, using the genuine Grand Power magazines is the recommended approach for reliable feeding. Reviews of the SP45A3 consistently note that the factory Grand Power magazines perform best in the platform.
The clear polymer construction lets you see your remaining round count at a glance without having to remove the magazine or count shots. It is a practical feature for range training when you want to stay aware of your ammunition status quickly and easily.
.45 ACP cartridges are wide and relatively short compared to longer pistol calibers, which can make reliable feeding more sensitive to follower geometry. An anti-tilt follower helps ensure each round is presented to the feed lips at the correct angle, reducing the chance of a misfeed. It is a standard feature on quality factory magazines for good reason.
This magazine is engineered specifically for the Grand Power Stribog SP45A3. While the SP45A3 platform shares some design influences with HK UMP-pattern magazines, this factory Grand Power magazine is intended for the SP45A3 and may not function reliably in other firearms. Always verify compatibility before using any magazine in a different platform.
