This MDT polymer magazine delivers the reliability precision rifle owners have come to expect from the brand. The construction uses high-strength polymer with significant glass content throughout for durability that stands up to real-world use. MDT has put these through rigorous testing, including stress scenarios most shooters will never encounter, and they hold up without issue.
The magazine is designed for AICS-pattern short-action rifles and chassis systems, fitting MDT TAC21, LSS, LSS-XL, ACC, HS3, ESS, and XRS chassis without question. It also works with many other M24-type bottom metals, though some third-party systems may need minor fitting. The 10-round capacity gives you practical shooting capacity for range work, competition, or hunting without compromising magazine profile or rifle balance.
While designed for .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor, this magazine will also feed 243 Winchester, 6mm Creedmoor, 260 Remington, 7mm-08 Remington, and 22-250 Remington at slightly reduced capacity. The tempered steel spring and polymer follower work together to drive rounds smoothly into the chamber. The flat dark earth finish blends well with both field rifles and tactical setups, and the overall length accommodates cartridges up to 2.850 inches.
The FDE finish on the polymer body resists wear and looks clean on the range or in the field. Unlike metal magazines that can rust or corrode, polymer construction stays lightweight and doesn't require maintenance. The magazine arrives ready to use without any break-in period.
The magazine is guaranteed to work in MDT TAC21, LSS, LSS-XL, ACC, HS3, ESS, and XRS chassis systems. It also fits many other M24-type bottom metals. If you're using a third-party chassis, there's a solid chance it will fit, though some systems may require minor fitting. Winchester Model 70 and Winchester XPC actions are not compatible.
The magazine feeds .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, .243 Winchester, 6mm Creedmoor, 260 Remington, 7mm-08, and 22-250 Remington. For 22-250, you'll get reduced capacity. The magazine is not recommended for .300 WSM, as the feed lips would need modification.
The glass-filled polymer is built tough. MDT has tested these extensively, including driving cars over them without breaking them. While they're not indestructible, the high glass content ensures they'll handle normal shooting, storage, and field use without issue. They require no maintenance unlike steel magazines.
The magazine accommodates cartridges up to 2.850 inches overall length. If you're running longer cartridges, you may need to adjust how you load them, or the polymer magazine walls don't have room internally. Always verify your specific cartridge dimensions before loading.
