Open the hinged rear cover using the two latches and simply drop rounds into the magazine from the back. Unlike many other drums that require inserting rounds one at a time under spring pressure, this rear-loading design is straightforward and much faster. Once loaded, secure the rear cover and wind the central tension key several times before inserting into your rifle.
It's designed to fit standard AK-47 and AKM pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm. Most modern AK platforms use this same receiver geometry and mag well, so compatibility is broad. If you have a specialized or modified receiver, minor fitting may be needed, but standard AK-47 and AKM variants should take it without issues.
