This full-size magazine is designed for standard full-size 1911 platforms like Government length (5.0 inch) and Commander length (4.25 inch) pistols. Some 1911s, like compact/Officer models or proprietary designs from manufacturers like Springfield Armory EMP or Kimber Micro, use different frame sizes and won't accept full-size magazines. Check your pistol's documentation to confirm it takes full-size magazines.
