This Classic magazine ships with a removable polymer base pad and screws already accounted for, since the body is pre-drilled to accept it. The pad adds a bit more surface area for your pinky finger and helps cushion the mag if it hits the ground during a reload. Keep in mind this one is sized for full-size 1911 Government pattern pistols, not Commander or Officer's compacts, so double check your frame length before ordering if you're not sure which magazine your pistol takes.
