Description
Anybody who has run a pressure switch on a weapon light or IR laser knows the headache of loose cable. Zip ties fray, get sharp, and rotate at the worst moment, while rubber bands give up on you before the day is over. The Forward Controls Design PCM was built to fix exactly that. Co-developed with Tactical Night Vision Company, it routes and protects your cable underneath the panel itself, so it stays put through recoil, movement, and rough handling. Because the cable is captured internally rather than held by friction, it cannot be yanked free unless you pull the panel off.
What the PCM ODG Actually Does On Your Rifle
This is the standard length PCM, measuring 1.57 inches and taking up a single M-LOK slot. That compact footprint is the whole point. The internal channels let you run cable straight through, wrap it around a 90 degree corner, or make a full 180 degree turn, and the routing has a generous radius so tight bends don't kink or stress the wire. It handles cable up to 0.140 inches in diameter, which covers most common Surefire, Crane, and Unity Tactical remote switch cables. Since each panel only eats one slot, you can stagger several of them down the rail or across faces to guide a long run wherever you need it.
Machining and Finish on the Forward Controls PCM
The panel is billet machined from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat anodizing in Olive Drab Green. It carries FCD's signature AA "all angles" dimpled texture, the same grippy pattern they've used on their bolt catches and mag release buttons for years, so it gives you positive purchase from any hand position. The open architecture doubles as a heat sink of sorts, and field testing showed it stays noticeably cooler to the touch than the handguard around it even after sustained strings of fire. Designed and made in the USA by Arson Machine Co. for FCD and TNVC, this is a small part that solves a real problem cleanly.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size cable will the PCM cable management panel handle?
The internal channels accept cables up to 0.140 inches in diameter. That range covers most common remote switch cables, including Surefire around 0.115 inches and the thicker Unity Tactical cables at roughly 0.140 inches. If your pressure switch cable falls within that spec, it will route cleanly through the panel.
How does the cable actually stay in place?
The cable runs inside the panel and is captured underneath it rather than held by friction. Because of that design it cannot be pulled free unless you remove the panel itself, which makes it far more secure than zip ties or rubber bands. It stays put through recoil and hard handling.
Can I run cable around a corner with this panel?
Yes. The PCM lets you route cable straight through, around a 90 degree angle, or in a full 180 degree turn. The internal routing has a generous radius so tight bends won't put sharp kinks or stress on the wire.
Does this ODG panel take up much rail space?
Not much at all. The standard PCM is 1.57 inches long and uses just a single M-LOK slot. Since each panel only takes one slot, you can stagger several of them along the rail or across different faces to guide longer cable runs.
