The Lone Wolf Timber Wolf TWF is Lone Wolf Distributors' full-size take on the Glock-pattern frame, molded in black polymer and sized to run Gen3 and Gen4 G17, 17L, 22, 24, 31, 34, 35 and 37 slides. That range of compatibility means the same frame can become the base for a 9mm, .40 S&W or .357 SIG build depending on which slide assembly you pair it with. It ships completely stripped, so there's no trigger, trigger housing, slide stop or magazine release installed, which means you'll want a completion kit or a set of compatible fire control parts on hand before you start putting the pistol together.

The Timber Wolf TWF Grip Feel

Even though the outside dimensions line up with a standard full-size Glock, this frame is reshaped to feel noticeably smaller in the hand. Lone Wolf squared off the trigger guard and cut a deep undercut where it meets the grip, which opens up room for your support hand and helps get rid of that pinched knuckle feeling after a long session behind the gun.

Running Gen3 or Gen4 Slides on the Same Frame

Inside the dust cover sits a small removable adapter, and that piece of plastic is what lets this one frame run either slide generation. Leave it in place for a Gen3 slide, pull it out for Gen4, and you avoid the usual mismatch issues that come from mixing recoil spring setups. The outside of the dust cover doubles as a short two-slot rail, enough real estate for a compact light.

Setting Up Your Timber Wolf Frame

The backstrap is interchangeable between flat and curved profiles, so you can dial the grip angle in closer to a 1911 or keep it closer to a stock Glock feel.
