The Luth-AR MBA-1 takes the old A2 rifle stock and drags it into the modern world. Instead of a fixed cheek weld and a length-of-pull you're stuck with, you get a stock that adjusts to you. The cheek rise lifts a full inch so you can get behind glass without craning your neck, and the recoil pad slides out to add up to 1 1/16 inches of length-of-pull. Set it up once, lock it down, and your gun fits like it was cut for your body.

What makes this version handy is that it's a complete kit, not just the stock. You get the A2 buffer tube, the rifle buffer, and the .223/5.56 buffer spring all in the box, so there's no hunting down parts or guessing at buffer weights. Drop it on any .223/5.56 AR-15 lower and you're ready to run.

Why the MBA-1 Punches Above Its Weight

This whole assembly comes in around 1.26 pounds, roughly half what a lot of adjustable stocks tip the scale at. The body is glass-filled nylon, so it's tough enough to take a beating on the range or in the field while keeping your rifle balanced and quick to the shoulder. Installation is straightforward and doesn't call for a specialized armorer's bench. The cheek piece is pre-installed for right-handed shooters but flips to the other side if you run it lefty, and it slides fore and aft to match your scope's eye relief. There are molded sling pockets that accept Grovtec QD cups if you want to add a sling, though the swivels are sold separately to keep the cost down.

Keep in mind this is a fixed rifle-length stock built for standard A1 and A2 rifle buffer tubes. It won't work with a collapsible carbine setup, so it's aimed at precision, competition, hunting, and DMR builds where a solid, repeatable cheek weld beats an adjustable length.
