The Ruger 10/22 has always been one of the easiest rifles to make your own, and the Luth-AR MCA-22 leans right into that. This modular chassis takes your existing 10/22 barreled action and drops it into a lightweight, fully adjustable platform that fits you instead of the other way around. At just 2.09 pounds, the chassis itself keeps the whole rifle nimble, which matters whether you're carrying it through the field or running it through a match stage. It's built from high-strength glass-filled nylon paired with 6061 aluminum and steel hardware, so it holds up without feeling heavy or clunky.
The adjustability is where this thing earns its keep. You get a click-adjustable cheek piece that moves forward and back .750 inches and up and down a full 2 inches, so getting your eye lined up behind a scope becomes repeatable. Length of pull runs from 11.25 inches all the way out to 15.75 inches in .75-inch increments, which means it works for youth shooters and full-grown adults alongside each other. The gooseneck-style pistol grip is 100 percent ambidextrous with a palm swell and aggressive texturing on the sides and front, giving you solid purchase whether you shoot lefty or righty.
The chassis ships with a removable taper barrel insert. Leave it in for a standard-profile 10/22 barrel, or pull it out to run target and bull barrels up to .920 inches in diameter. Installation is straightforward too, since your receiver, trigger group, and barrel bolt right in. There's M-LOK space on the foregrip for a bipod or other accessories, plus two spots that accept GrovTec threaded QD cup inserts for sling attachment.
One thing to keep in mind: this is the chassis only, so you'll supply your own 10/22-style action and barrel. It fits traditional 10/22-pattern receivers, including plenty of aftermarket options, and it's a great foundation for casual plinking, Steel Challenge, Tactical 22, or getting your feet wet in NRL22.
