Description

Take the baffle stack from Liberty Precision Machine's Anthem 2 series, build the whole thing out of titanium, and you get the Mach-L. It's the full-length option in the Mach lineup, and the one to grab if you want maximum sound reduction out of a .30 cal can that still weighs less than most people's optics. At 11.9 ounces bare (12.7 with the included direct thread adapter), it hangs off the end of a hunting rifle or gas gun without turning the whole setup into a chore to carry.

What Makes the Mach-L Worth a Look

LPM designed the Mach series around a clear list of priorities: the most sound reduction possible for the length, strength without unnecessary weight, zero accuracy penalty, reduced visible flash, and low blowback on gas-operated rifles. The progressive baffle design spaces things out to handle the different pressure zones gas moves through as it travels down the can, which is why it performs well across everything from subsonic 300 Blackout to full-power 308 and beyond. Independent sound testing has put the Mach-L among the top performers in the lightweight full-size .30 cal category, so the numbers back up the design.

Mounting and Build Details

The rear of the Mach-L uses the industry standard HUB pattern (1.375×24), so you're not locked into one mounting ecosystem. Out of the box it ships with a titanium Rearden 5/8-24 direct thread adapter, and it plays nice with mounts from Dead Air, SilencerCo, YHM, Griffin, and plenty of others. Construction is tubeless with fully welded titanium components, finished in Graphite Black Cerakote, and the serial ID ring design on the rear section makes long-term maintenance simpler than cans with the serial etched on the tube.

Running the Mach-L Day to Day

There are no barrel length restrictions on any .30 caliber or smaller cartridge, though LPM recommends a muzzle brake under the can for barrels shorter than 14.5 inches. Pair that flexibility with a lifetime warranty against defects and you've got a do-it-all rifle can that moves between a precision bolt gun, an AR-10, and a deer rifle without complaint.

Frequently Asked Questions

What calibers can I shoot through the Mach-L?

The Mach-L is rated for .30 caliber and smaller cartridges with no barrel length restrictions, so 308, 6.5 Creedmoor, 300 Blackout, 5.56, and similar rounds are all fair game. For barrels shorter than 14.5 inches, Liberty Precision Machine recommends running a muzzle brake under the can. That flexibility makes it easy to move between multiple hosts.

Is the Mach-L HUB compatible?

Yes, the rear of the Mach-L uses the standard 1.375×24 HUB thread pattern. It ships with a titanium Rearden 5/8-24 direct thread adapter, and it accepts HUB mounts from Dead Air, SilencerCo, YHM, Griffin, Energetic Armament, and others. That means you can set it up direct thread or quick detach depending on your rifles.

How does the Mach-L differ from the Anthem 2 series?

The Mach-L uses the same baffle stack as LPM's Anthem 2 series, but built entirely in titanium instead of stainless steel. That drops the weight to 11.9 ounces bare while keeping the same sound performance the Anthem platform is known for. Think of it as the lightweight version of a proven design.

Is the Mach-L a good fit for gas guns like an AR-10?

It is. Low blowback on gas-operated firearms was one of the core design priorities for the Mach series, and the progressive baffle spacing is tuned to manage gas flow through the length of the can. It works well on semi-autos and bolt guns alike, and the light weight keeps a long gas gun from getting front-heavy.
