This is Kensight's DAS (Defensive Adjustable Sight) built for 1911 pistols cut for the Novak LoMount dovetail. It gives you full click-adjustable windage and elevation, so you can dial in your point of impact without guessing, and the whole body is rounded and dehorned with no sharp corners to bite your hands or grab clothing on the draw. The sight body is Wire-EDM machined from 4140 chrome-moly steel and heat treated to a hardness of RC 38-40. That process holds tighter tolerances than typical CNC work, which means consistent dovetail dimensions, an audible click on every adjustment, and a sight that shrugs off years of slide cycling and holster wear. It is the kind of part you install once and forget about.
The blade is partially serrated and slanted to knock down glare, and there is a high-visibility white dot on each side of the notch. The two dots frame the rear notch and pull your eye straight to the front post, which speeds up target acquisition in a defensive or range setting. It is a clean two-dot setup that works well in daylight and does not clutter your view.
This one drops into an existing Novak LoMount rear dovetail found on many factory and custom 1911s, including certain Colt, Springfield, Wilson Combat, Les Baer, STI, Rock River, and Dan Wesson models.
