Instead of measuring, clamping, and fiddling with calipers for every case, this tool mounts right in your press using a caliber-specific Quick Trim die (sold separately). You run the case up, give the handle a few turns, and it comes back down trimmed to length with both the inside and outside of the case mouth chamfered and deburred in the same motion. That means one less step at the bench and brass that's ready to prime without hunting down a separate deburring tool.
The star of the show is the click-adjustable stop, which lets you dial in trim length in .001 inch increments. Once you've set it, you can run through a pile of brass and know every piece is coming out the same. A handy feature here is the ability to trim a touch shorter than standard max length, which stretches out how often you have to revisit the trimming step as your cases grow with repeated firings.
