Description
The UTG Goliath is Leapers' answer to the question every long range shooter eventually asks: how do I get a rock-solid platform without spending a small fortune? Built entirely from 6061-T6 aluminum and steel, the Goliath was developed alongside UTG's precision optics line and tested through drop trials, temperature and humidity cycling, and hundreds of live rounds to prove it can take a beating. It carries a .50 BMG rating, so whether you're running a heavy ELR rig or just want something that won't flinch under recoil, this bipod has the muscle for it.
What Sets the Goliath Apart on the Bench
The standout here is the wide 60-degree open angle paired with a dropped-head design. Instead of mounting the legs right at the top like most bipods, the Goliath places the pivot points below the Picatinny rail, which lowers the center of gravity and gives you noticeably better stability when things get heavy. The legs adjust in center height from roughly 8 to 12 inches across multiple locking positions, and they fold to 0, 45, and 90 degrees so you can set up flat in prone or angle out for uneven ground.
Dialing In Your Position with the Goliath Bipod
Separate tilt and pan levers let you fine-tune your setup on the fly. You get up to 40 degrees of tilt to level out on sloped terrain and 28 degrees of panning left and right to track a target, each with independent tension adjustment so you can run them loose for tracking or lock them down tight. The lever positions themselves can be repositioned to keep everything out of your way when you're settled behind the gun.
Mounting and Feet
The Goliath attaches to 1913 Picatinny and Weaver rails through a tool-free, tension-adjustable quick-release base with three squared recoil lugs that dig in and hold zero under recoil, where most bipods only use one. The oversized rubber feet grip well on just about any surface, and thanks to the QD system they swap out easily for aftermarket spikes or pads if you want to change up your footing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size caliber can the UTG Goliath Bipod handle?
The Goliath is rated all the way up to .50 BMG, so it's built to stand up to serious recoil. Leapers put it through extensive live fire and drop testing to confirm it holds up on heavy ELR and big bore rifles. If you're running anything from a magnum bolt gun to a .50, this bipod has the strength for it.
How does the Goliath attach to my rifle?
It mounts through a tool-free, tension-adjustable quick-release base that clamps onto 1913 Picatinny and Weaver rails. You'll need roughly 40mm of rail space underneath your forend. The base uses three squared recoil lugs to lock in and hold zero, which is a step up from the single lug you find on most bipods.
Can I swap the feet on the UTG Goliath?
Yes. The oversized rubber feet grip well on most surfaces, but they use a QD system that lets you change them out. They're compatible with most aftermarket QD foot pads, so you can switch to spikes or metal feet depending on your terrain.
What's the difference between the 8-12 inch and the 6-8 inch Goliath?
This is the medium profile version with a center height range of about 8 to 12 inches, giving you more clearance for benchrest or taller shooting positions. The other model (TL-BPFS03Q) is an ultra low profile version at roughly 6 to 8 inches for getting flat in prone. Both share the same 60-degree stance, pan and tilt features, and .50 BMG rating.
