Description

The Leapers UTG PRO TBNR (short for "The Best Never Rests") is one of the best-built bipods to come out of UTG's Michigan facility, and it shows the moment you pull it out of the box. This is the TLUBP01 model with an 8.5" to 11" center height range and a low-profile Picatinny mount, making it a natural fit for AR-platform rifles, DMR builds, and bolt-action hunting setups that ride a little taller. Everything is machined from a mix of 6061-T6 and 7075-T6 aluminum with reinforced steel components, and the folding mechanism uses a steel-on-steel lockup so the legs stay put under heavy use.

What Sets the UTG PRO TBNR Apart

Where this bipod earns its keep is adjustability. You get tension-adjustable 360-degree panning and 19 degrees of tilt forward, rearward, left, and right, so you can level up on uneven ground and track a target without repositioning the whole rifle. The legs lock into three positions and extend on patented spiral-guided rails with steel ball-bearing detent ring locks, which keep your height setting locked in and give you automatic, spring-loaded retraction when you fold them away. Folks who have run it alongside pricier competitors often point out how the legs don't spin when you load the bipod, and the tension arm stays rock solid.

Feet You Can Swap and Tune

The TBNR ships with interchangeable foot pads that use a QD locking detent, and here's the part a lot of buyers love: it accepts most aftermarket Atlas-style pads. If you want spikes for soft dirt or rubber for the bench, you can swap them out in seconds and set the bipod up exactly how you shoot. It's a genuinely versatile platform whether you're prone in the field or dialing in groups at the range.

At right around 1.5 pounds, it's a substantial piece of hardware, and that heft is part of why it feels so planted behind the rifle. Made in the USA and backed by the UTG lifetime warranty, the TBNR is a buy-it-once kind of bipod.

Frequently Asked Questions

What rifles does the UTG PRO TBNR bipod fit?

This TLUBP01 model uses a low-profile Picatinny mount, so it clamps directly to any standard Pic rail on the bottom of your handguard or forend. That makes it a solid match for AR-15 and AR-10 builds, DMR setups, and bolt-action hunting rifles. With the 8.5" to 11" center height, it works best for shooters who want a taller prone or field position.

Can I use Atlas feet on the TBNR bipod?

Yes. The TBNR uses a QD locking detent foot pad system that accepts most aftermarket Atlas-style pads. A lot of owners swap the factory pads for spikes when they need extra bite in soft ground, and it's a tool-free change that takes just a few seconds.

How does the height adjustment work on the UTG PRO TBNR?

The legs extend on patented spiral-guided rails with steel ball-bearing detent ring locks that hold your chosen height securely. When you're done, the legs feature automatic spring-loaded retraction, so they pull back in cleanly. The three-position folding lockup uses steel-on-steel contact to keep everything rigid under recoil.

Is the UTG PRO TBNR bipod made in the USA?

It is. The TBNR line is designed and manufactured at UTG PRO's Michigan facility, and it's built from a mix of 6061-T6 and 7075-T6 aluminum with reinforced steel in the high-stress areas. It's also backed by the UTG lifetime warranty.
