The laser trainer cap is firing pin activated. Every time your hammer or striker drops, it flashes a red laser for about a tenth of a second right where the bullet would land. That instant feedback is gold for diagnosing flinch, trigger jerk, and follow through, and it pairs with the full lineup of LaserLyte reactive targets for interactive at home drills. Swap over to the bore sight cap and the laser runs constant on, giving you a steady reference point to rough in a scope, red dot, iron sights, or laser before you ever spend a round confirming zero at the range.
A built in rubber snap cap cushions the firing pin, so you can rack and dry fire again and again without beating up your gun. The 5mW Class IIIA red laser stays bright and easy to pick up indoors, and the internal batteries come installed and are good for around 3,000 shots before they need a swap. When you are done, a cleaning rod gently pushes it back out of the chamber.
