Description

The LaRue Tactical LT755-30S is the short-configuration pivot mount built to sit behind your red dot and drop an Aimpoint or Hensoldt 3X magnifier right into place when you need to reach out a little further. It clamps to any 1913 Picatinny rail with LaRue's proven quick-detach lever, so you can pull the whole setup off for cleaning or storage and slap it back on with your zero holding. When the magnifier isn't needed, a quick pull swings it clear of your line of sight for a fast, unmagnified picture.

How the LT755-30S Pivot Actually Works

What sets this mount apart is the angled, spring-tensioned pivoting arm that rotates on a stout steel shaft. There are no buttons, no switches, and no delicate spots for sand or grit to gum up. You grab the optic one-handed, pull back, move it into position, and let go. Once it's seated it does not budge unless you tell it to, which is exactly what you want when you're transitioning between close targets and something farther out.

Fit and Alignment for the LT755-30S

The short configuration is designed to line up cleanly behind LaRue's LT659NV, LT660, and LT751 optic mounts, holding the magnifier at the correct centerline height for a natural cheek weld. It's cut for 30mm magnifier bodies like the Aimpoint 3X, and the low-profile design leaves room to clear most flip-up rear sights. Worth noting that it won't play nice with MAKO-style magnifiers because of the rib around their body, so stick with standard 30mm tubes.

Built Like a LaRue

Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum with a hard-coat anodized, corrosion-resistant finish, this mount is made to take a beating at the range or in the field and keep working. Users consistently call it rock solid, with the pivot flipping out of the way easily once it's broken in. It's the kind of no-nonsense hardware that earns the "buy once" reputation LaRue is known for.

Frequently Asked Questions

What magnifiers does the LaRue LT755-30S fit?

It's built for 30mm magnifier bodies such as the Aimpoint 3X and Hensoldt units. It will not work with MAKO magnifiers because of the raised rib that runs around their outer diameter. If your magnifier has a standard 30mm tube, you're good to go.

Does the LT755-30S hold zero when you remove and reattach it?

Yes. LaRue's QD lever system is designed to return to zero when you pull the mount off and clamp it back onto the same rail. That's the whole point of the quick-detach base, so you can remove it for cleaning or transport without re-sighting your setup.

What LaRue optic mounts does the short pivot mount line up with?

The short configuration is designed to align at the correct centerline height behind LaRue's LT659NV, LT660, and LT751 mounts. With the T1/H1 in the LT660 or LT751, the magnifier may sit slightly offset vertically, but two Allen screws let you center the red dot as viewed through the 3X. The short version is the one to grab when your red dot is on a lower mount.

Is the pivot stiff out of the box?

The spring-tensioned arm can feel tight when it's brand new. A little gun oil worked into the spring and hinge loosens it up nicely, and after some use it flips in and out smoothly. Once it's dialed in the arm locks solidly into position and stays put until you move it.
