The Lantac Drakon Muzzle Brake is built for AK-pattern rifles running 7.62×39, and it does two jobs at once. On its own it's a seriously effective brake that keeps the front end flat and settles the rifle quickly between shots. Thread on a Dead Air KEYMO suppressor and it becomes your quick-detach mount, so you get real recoil control today and a suppressor host ready to go whenever you're set up for it.
What makes the Drakon tick is Lantac's Short Energy Pulse system. Instead of one long shove, it shortens the length of the recoil impulse so repeating shot energy doesn't overlap and drag your sights off target. Paired with the way it vents gas up front, the result is a rifle that stays level and lets you track your target through the string rather than fighting muzzle climb every time.
This is the DA variant, which carries the Dead Air KEYMO interface up front. The KEYMO system uses a tapered lockup with a mechanical detent that holds tight through heat and vibration, and the taper sits ahead of the locking lugs so carbon doesn't weld your can to the mount. That means fast, repeatable suppressor attachment with a return to zero you can count on.
Lantac machines the Drakon from hardened milspec steel on Swiss lathes, hardens it to around 48Rc, and finishes it in black nitride QPQ for corrosion resistance and a long service life. Every unit is serial numbered for quality control. The 14x1mm left-hand thread matches the standard AK-47/74 muzzle pattern, and it ships with a timing shim set so you can index the brake correctly during install. A dab of Rocksett or comparable thread locker is a smart move to keep everything locked in place.

Yes. It uses the 14x1mm left-hand thread found on most standard AK-47 and AK-74 pattern muzzles. Keep in mind some variants like non-converted Saigas, certain Yugo rifles, and thumbhole-stock guns can differ, so confirm your barrel threads before ordering.
This DA model carries the Dead Air KEYMO interface, so any Dead Air KEYMO-compatible suppressor or KEYMO adapter can mount directly to it. The tapered lockup gives you fast attachment and a repeatable return to zero. You can also run it bare as a standalone brake without a can attached.
The KEYMO DA version ships with a timing shim set rather than a crush washer, since a suppressor mount needs to be indexed precisely. We'd recommend a thread locker like Rocksett to keep it timed and secure. Thread locker is not included in the box.
It makes a real difference on 7.62×39. The Short Energy Pulse design shortens the recoil impulse and the front porting keeps the muzzle flat, which adds up to noticeably faster sight recovery and easier follow-up shots. As with any effective brake, expect more concussion and side blast for anyone standing next to you.
