The Lantac Dragon in .308 / 7.62 NATO is the muzzle brake for anyone running an AR-10 or large-frame semi-auto who wants the rifle to stay flat and settle fast between shots. Lantac's patented Short Energy Pulse system is the heart of it. Instead of letting recoil energy stretch out and stack up shot after shot, the Dragon shortens that impulse so the rifle doesn't get a chance to push you off target. On a .308 that difference is easy to feel, especially during quick strings when muzzle rise is the thing that costs you time.
This is the Xeno HUB version, meaning the brake doubles as a suppressor mount. If you run Dead Air Xeno-compatible cans, the suppressor locks directly onto the Dragon with no separate adapter in the mix. The mount design is fully licensed from Dead Air, so mounting a can this way keeps your suppressor warranty intact. That makes it a smart pick if you want one muzzle device that pulls double duty as a hard-working brake and a repeatable suppressor host.
Lantac machines these on Swiss lathes from AISI 4140/4150 steel, then hardens the material to 48-52 Rockwell C and runs a QPQ nitride finish to AMS2753D standards. That combination gives you real corrosion resistance and a surface that holds up to the heat and blast a .308 throws at it. Each brake is serial numbered for quality control, and it wears a clean black finish that blends in on just about any build.
The Dragon threads 5/8×24 and is timed with an included shim set rather than a crush washer, which lets you index the ports exactly where you want them. Lantac recommends Rocksett thread locker for a semi-permanent hold, sold separately. Fair warning that like most performance brakes, this one moves gas and sound to the sides, so anyone next to you at the line will notice it. That is the trade-off for the recoil control it delivers, and for a lot of folks it is well worth it.

It is cut for 5/8×24 threads, which is the standard for .308 and 7.62 NATO rifles including AR-10 style and other large-frame platforms. If your barrel is threaded 5/8×24, this brake will fit. Check your muzzle threading before ordering to be sure.
The Dragon ships with a timing shim set instead of a crush washer, so you can index the ports exactly where you want them. Lantac recommends Rocksett semi-permanent thread locker to keep it in place, which is sold separately. Shims give you cleaner timing and are easy to work with during install.
Like most high-performance brakes, the Dragon redirects gas and blast out to the sides, so it is louder to anyone standing near you than a flash hider or bare muzzle. That side blast is the trade-off for how well it controls recoil and muzzle rise. Ear protection is a must, and shooters next to you at the line will feel it too.
