The open-top design leaves clearance above the slide, and owners running optics on their Hellcats report it works fine with a slide-mounted red dot. Standard micro optics like the Shield SMSc or Hex Wasp sit above the holster body, so they don't interfere with holstering or the draw.
Both adjustments are handled with simple screw hardware on the holster body. Tighten or loosen the retention screws until the draw feels right, then set the cant anywhere from -15 to +15 degrees to match your carry position. A couple minutes with a screwdriver and it's dialed in.
