Tactical designs each shell in CAD, pressure forms it at higher pressure than most of the competition, then CNC cuts and drills it before finishing every edge by hand. The big selling point here is versatility. The Liberator MK2 is completely ambidextrous, so it runs right or left handed without buying a second rig, and the hardware reconfigures for inside or outside the waistband carry in a few minutes with basic tools. The included 1.75 inch belt clip adjusts for cant anywhere from negative 15 to positive 15 degrees, which covers everything from straight drop to a forward FBI tilt for strong side carry. Retention is screw adjustable too, so you can set it snug for active days or loosen it up for a faster draw. If you'd rather ditch the hard clip, the shell accepts Ulti-Clips, soft loops, and other common aftermarket attachments (sold separately), including beltless carry options.
This shell is molded to the 43 and 43X specifically, keeping the slim frame tucked close to the body where a single stack nine belongs. The design also covers the magazine release, so brushing against a seat belt or chair arm won't dump your mag at the worst possible time. Yes, it's fully ambidextrous by design. The same shell and hardware set up for right or left hand carry, and it converts between inside and outside the waistband as well. All it takes is repositioning the clip hardware with basic tools, so one holster covers every configuration.
The shell fits the 43 and 43X frame and slide profile, but L.A.G. does not list this model as optic cut. If you're running a red dot, plan on checking clearance at the mouth of the holster, or reach out to L.A.G.'s custom shop for an optic-ready version. For iron sight setups, fitment is spot on.
Retention is set with a screw near the trigger guard area, so you can tighten or loosen the grip on the pistol to your preference.
