This model (part number 1063) is molded specifically for the Glock 48 and its 4.17 inch barrel. A 43X will drop in and lock at the trigger guard, but the shorter slide leaves empty space at the muzzle end. LAG makes a dedicated Glock 43/43X version of the Defender, and that is the better pick if the 43X is your carry gun.
