The third generation is a meaningful update, not just a fresh coat of paint. KRISS reworked the upper and lower housings for better ergonomics, added a redesigned bolt release and mounting block, and fitted a low profile upper with a full length Picatinny top rail. The new square barrel shroud carries M-LOK slots on both sides and along the bottom, so lights, lasers, and hand stops bolt right on. Controls are properly ambidextrous too, with a short throw safety lever and a reversible magazine release, plus an interchangeable AR-15 style pistol grip if you want to swap in your favorite. Flip-up front and rear sights come installed, and the 1/2×28 threaded muzzle is ready for your choice of muzzle device or suppressor.
Magazines are a big part of the appeal here. The Vector feeds from full size Glock pattern mags, which are cheap, plentiful, and probably already in your range bag. This model ships with a 40 round extended magazine, so you can shoot a full stage or a long plinking string without a reload. The 3-position folding stock adjusts for length of pull and folds flat for compact storage, and the whole gun breaks down with four pins and no tools, making cleanup after a range day quick and painless. At 7.7 pounds with that distinctive Vector profile, it handles like nothing else in the safe, and that is half the fun.
It feeds from full size Glock pattern 9mm magazines, the same ones used by the Glock 17. That means factory Glock mags, aftermarket options, and extended magazines all work. This model ships with one 40-round extended magazine in the box.
