There's nothing else on the market that runs like a Kriss Vector. The SDP G3 in .45 ACP uses the company's Super V Recoil Mitigation System, a closed-bolt delayed blowback design where the bolt and a low-mass slider travel down and behind the magwell instead of straight back. That downward energy works against muzzle rise, and combined with a bore axis that sits below the fire control group, roughly in line with your second knuckle, it makes a .45 feel far more polite than it has any right to. Follow-up shots come back on target fast, and that's the whole point of this platform.
The G3 generation reworked both the upper and lower housings. You get an M-LOK handguard in place of the older side and bottom rails, improved magwell texturing for better support-hand grip, a rear Picatinny mount, and compatibility with standard AR-style pistol grips so you can swap in whatever feels right in your hand. Controls are ambidextrous, including a reversible magazine release, and the four-pin takedown means cleaning doesn't require tools. Low-profile flip-up sights come installed, and the full-length top rail leaves plenty of room for a red dot.
Like every Vector, this one feeds from full-size Glock pattern magazines, in this case Glock 21 mags, and it ships with a 30-round extended magazine in the box. If you already run a Glock in .45, your mags and ammo cross over, which is a genuinely useful bit of logistics for a range gun or truck gun.
The 5.5 inch barrel is 4140 chrome moly with a black nitride finish and comes threaded .578×28 for a suppressor or muzzle device, and .45 ACP being naturally subsonic makes this a favorite host for cans. Wrapped in the Flat Dark Earth finish, at 15.35 inches overall and around 5.6 pounds, it's the lightest, most compact member of the Vector family and one of those firearms that draws a crowd every time it comes out of the bag.
It feeds from full-size Glock 21 pattern magazines, and this model ships with one 30-round extended magazine. Standard 13-round Glock 21 mags run in it as well, along with other extended options built on that pattern. If you already own a Glock in .45 ACP, your magazines carry right over.
Yes. The 5.5 inch barrel comes threaded .578×28 RH, which is the standard thread pitch for .45 caliber suppressors and muzzle devices. Since most .45 ACP loads are already subsonic, this platform is a popular suppressor host straight out of the box.

Absolutely. The full-length Picatinny top rail accepts red dots, magnifiers, and most other rail-mounted optics. The included flip-up sights sit low when folded, so they stow out of the way of your optic and pop up as backups when you need them.
