There is nothing else on the rack that looks or shoots quite like a KRISS Vector, and the CRB Gen 3 is the most accessible way to get one. Built around a 16-inch rifle-length 9mm barrel, this carbine leans on the patented KRISS Super V Recoil Mitigation System, which redirects recoil energy downward instead of straight back into your shoulder. Pair that with one of the lowest bore axes you will find on any firearm and you get a gun that stays remarkably flat shot to shot, which is exactly why it has such a loyal following in pistol caliber carbine competition.
This particular model comes in the Camo finish with a featureless setup, running a fixed stock and a KRISS grip fin in place of a traditional pistol grip. The Gen 3 upgrades are what set it apart from older Vectors: reimagined upper and lower housings with better texturing around the magwell, a shorter charging handle and control levers for more intuitive handling, and the ambidextrous short-throw safety lever that lefties and righties both appreciate.
The refreshed M-LOK barrel shroud is a big part of the appeal. It swaps the old Picatinny rails for five M-LOK slots on each side and six along the bottom, so you can hang a light, a sling mount, or a hand stop exactly where you want without a rail in the way. Up top you still get a full-length MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail for optics, and the low-profile flip-up front and rear sights are ready to go right out of the box.
One of the smartest things about the Vector is that it eats full-size Glock magazines, so if you already run Glocks there is nothing new to buy into. This configuration ships with a 10-round magazine, and the 16-inch barrel wears 1/2×28 threads if you decide to add a muzzle device down the road. The skeletonized single-stage trigger, tool-less four-pin takedown, and ambidextrous magazine release round out a package that is as fun to shoot as it is easy to live with.
The Vector CRB Gen 3 feeds from full-size Glock pattern 9mm magazines, so it drops right into most shooters' existing kit. This model ships with one 10-round magazine. If you already run Glocks, you will not need to buy into a whole new mag system.
